摘要: A real-time coupled multielectrode array sensor was used to measure the non-uniform corrosion of carbon steel material in a crude oil containing different amounts brine solutions. Parallel immersion tests with specimens were also conducted. The measurement results from and show that crude-brine mixtures not corrosive if there no segregated phase or water formed. However, mixture highly when present even small quantity. measured that, once initiated by amount suspended particulates, it took long time for stop after homogeneously mixed oil.
