摘要: The mass resolving power of the multi-reflection time-of-flight spectrometer ISOLTRAP was studied by monitoring 39K+ signals. A drift tube at center MR-ToF MS allows decreasing or increasing kinetic energy ion bunch, switching its potential when ions are traversing it. This offers possibility capturing and ejecting bunches controlling a single voltage so-called in-trap lift technique. It also changing trapped inside MS, offering way to optimize device. For fixed number 2000 laps corresponding total flight time about 30 ms, data accumulated for 100 experimental cycles, adding duration 10 s each spectrum. Without any subsequent corrections broadening effects, powers in excess 300 000 (FWHM) were obtained.
