摘要: Interspecies hybridization is of concern for the management invasive species, as it can allow exchange advantageous alleles between introduced species and undermine control efforts. In this study, populations common carp goldfish in Australia investigated. Common were sampled extensively from Murray-Darling Basin, largest river basin Australia. Fish identified field hybrids, on basis having truncated or missing pairs barbels around their mouths, also sampled. All fish genotyped five microsatellite loci that could be amplified through polymerase chain reaction both mitochondrial DNA region was sequenced field-identified hybrids a subset carp. Bayesian clustering analyses, factorial correspondence analysis direct inspection profiles confirmed all had ancestry species. A number cryptic identified. While most inferred to F1-generation, some F2-generation backcrossed individuals detected, indicating gene flow ongoing Gene biased favor male mating with female goldfish, 19 20 F1-generation maternal ancestry. This (e.g. resistance koi herpes virus) move study illustrates programs should not only target considered destructive, but consider risks posed by introgression related
