摘要: We present an 8-year-old boy who was referred to our center with the complaint of upper gastrointestinal bleeding and diagnosed hypersplenism progressive esophageal varices. Performing a computerized tomography (CT) scan, we discovered suspicious finding in venography phase favor thrombosis splenic vein. Once complementary examinations were done due recurrent band ligation failure, patient underwent splenectomy. And during one-year follow-up obvious improvement varices observed endoscopy.
