摘要: Abstract By mid-1990s the development of Jakarta Metropolitan Region (JMR) appeared to be heading towards global city status. However, current economic crisis has largely squeezed JMR economy which in turn rapidly increased unemployment and poverty incidence region. Meanwhile, capacity local government provide urban public service infrastructure declined as revenues decreased substantially. The near future will depend on how soon ends whether political situation can stabilize, but for now becomes most pronounced issue planning.
