摘要: Transfusion management of the pregnant woman and fetus requires special consideration. This chapter will address following related issues: routine prenatal neonatal transfusion testing in relationship to maternal RBC alloimmunization, hemolytic disease newborn (HDFN), HDFN, including maternal, fetal, treatment. HDFN occurs when plasma contains an alloantibody against antigen carried on fetal RBCs, resulting anemia. The administration Rh immune globulin (RhIg) perinatally has dramatically decreased incidence due anti-D. primary goals are determine which women would benefit from RhIg prophylaxis women/fetuses require further monitoring/treatment for HDFN.
