摘要: Cardiac injuries are recorded after multiple trauma and associated witha poor patient outcome. Reaming prior to locked intramedullary nailing is a frequently used technique stabilize femoral diaphysis fractures. However, in polytraumatized patients, complications such as fat emboli acute respiratory distress syndrome has been with reaming. The reaming irrigator aspirator (RIA) system provides concomitant irrigation suction of the contents should therefore reduce reaming-associated complications. The aim study was investigate cardiac functionaftermultiple regard two different RIA devices (RIAI vs. RIAII). 15 male pigs were included study. Pigs received either sham treatment or (chest trauma, femur fracture, liver laceration hemorrhagic shock), followed by RIAI RIAII (RIAII: reduced diameter reamer, improved control suction). function assessed transesophageal echocardiography systemic inflammation well local damage examined. both groupsshowed impaired function, valvular insufficiency damage. Systemic inflammationand alterations observed which might contribute early myocardial vivo.Multiple including long-bone fracture subsequent induces dysfunction insufficiency, be linked mechanical injuryand increased inflammation. 6h there less differences between post-traumatic consequences injured pigs, indicating no beneficial effect over RIAI.
