摘要: Objective: To characterize patients with both monosodium urate (MSU) and calcium pyrophosphate (CPP) crystals in their synovial fluid (SF).Method: Forty-nine gout acute arthritis were included. Those MSU only SF compared to those CPP SF.Results: A total of 36 out 49 (73.5%) had crystals, whereas 13 (26.5%) SF. Co-deposition was associated long-standing disease (p = 0.022), kidney dysfunction (p = 0.024), erosive (p = 0.049), but not age. Conclusion: Long-standing may be a risk factor for deposition disease, the frequency co-deposition higher than expected.
