摘要: The purpose of the present study is to compare investment castings prepared with conventional wax based patterns and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) for industrial applications. Starting from identification component, three different types pattern materials (namely: wax, ABS coated wax) were under experimental conditions. measurement hardness was made on final prepared. results highlights that casting gives better as compared other (under given conditions). value Cpk >1 proposed process highly capable. adopted procedure proof concept. Strong possibilities are observed statistical control at suggested optimized settings. Hence can be used mass production settings controlled hardness. Further components parametric have been studied functional validation parts. supported by microstructure analysis.
