摘要: This paper investigates the transient response of forced convection heat in a reticulated porous medium through taking pore-scale approach. The thermal system is subject to ramp disturbance superimposed on entrance flow temperature/velocity. developed model consisted ten cylindrical obstacles aligned staggered arrangement with set isothermal boundary conditions. A few types fluids, along different values porosity and Reynolds number are considered. Assuming laminar flow, unsteady Navier Stokes energy equations solved numerically. temporally developing temperature fields as well surface averaged Nusselt numbers used explore system. Further, Response Lag Ratio (RLR) defined compare input. results reveal that an increase amplitude increases RLR. Nonetheless, duration decreases RLR, particularly for high density fluids. Interestingly, it found has almost negligible effects upon RLP. study clearly reflects importance conducting analyses understanding media.
