摘要: Singapore is situated in the tropics where seasonality of influenza not as well defined that temperate countries. We examined circulation viruses community terms characteristics activity. reviewed laboratory-confirmed virological data collected between 2010 and 2014 under national surveillance programme. Influenza activity was measured by proportion specimens from outpatients with influenza-like illness tested positive for virus based on 4-weekly moving interval. Seasonal epidemics occurred around end previous year or beginning middle year. Increases positivity were more pronounced when there a change predominant circulating type/subtype to A(H3N2). lasted about 12 weeks average, longer duration especially it associated Continuous important could provide early warning imminent surges transmission, allow timely implementation public health prevention control interventions minimize influenza-associated disease burden.
