摘要: Sequencing of biological or synthetic peptides has sparked interest in the separation and quantitation amino acids by capillary electrophoresis (CE). Because comprise a group negatively charged, positively charged neutral molecules, it been difficult to separate quantitate all using single procedure. Today many proteins that require sequencing are frequently available only microgram (µg) quantities necessitating at extremely low concentrations. Although few contain aromatic groups strongly absorb ultraviolet (UV) range, majority lacks absorbing chromophore groups. This lack sensitivity further complicates ability acids.
