摘要: Sustainability has become an increasingly significant issue, although practical implementation remains difficult. In Italy, promoting sustainability is particularly problematic at the provincial and municipal level, where lack of resources expertise, effects uncoordinated policies make it difficult to achieve minimum requirements sustainable operational. One essential requirement knowledge baseline environmental conditions in each municipality. province Reggio Emilia (Northern Italy) Legambiente, association, launched initiative called 'Ecopaese' aimed gathering data on stimulating local administrations implement policies. To this end, state environment 45 municipalities within been monitored using 25 indicators. Their values have used rank by multiple criteria analysis (MCA). The results comparative approach provide information about level attained as a whole well single municipalities. It hoped that will basis for direct action plans identifying areas remedial action, recommended Agenda 21, declaration adopted many countries attending Rio Summit 1992.
