摘要: ABSTRACTY2SiO5:Pr3+ (1–9 mol%) nanophosphors were prepared via combustion synthesis using Calotropis gigantea plant latex as fuel. The PXRD patterns of the sample revealed a monoclinic phase with group P21/C n.14. crystallite size was found to be in range 40–48 nm. effect Pr3+ cations on luminescence characteristics YSO nanoparticles studied. CIE chromaticity coordinates located yellow region. Hence, present phosphor finds applications light-emitting diodes and display devices.
