摘要: In this review we present immunohistochemical methods for visualization of capillaries and muscle fibres in thick sections. Special attention is paid to the procedures that preserve good morphology. Applying confocal microscopy virtual 3D stereological grids, or tracing reality, length within a volume adjacent fibre per length, surface area can be evaluated by an unbiased approach. Moreover, models produced. Comparison developed with counting capillary profiles from 2D sections discussed reader warned underestimate as much 75 percent. Application described methodology illustrated anatomical remodelling capillarity during acute denervation early reinnervation rat soleus extensor digitorum longus muscles.
