摘要: This paper provides simple 'rule of thumb' advice to local route level bus planners regarding the trade-offs between 45 minute and a 60 headway. Although frequency timetable setting are major functions all transit authorities there is limited guidance available which have be made with regard waiting time, timed transfers service timing issues in timetables when headways long. A headway has marginally longer passenger wait times for passengers than However at it easier plan 'timed transfers' also enable benefits such as 'clockfaceness', 'even intervalness' 'round numberedness' (or memorability). Passenger impacts these factors modelled using weighted generalised time. The results suggest that preferred if share transfer low. Without low valuation benefits, over 50 per cent riders must making make preferable. high required preferable can 10 cent. some cases less beneficial more long headways.
