摘要: A current sense circuit utilizes multiple resistive reference switches connected in electrical series to reduce the level of required (Iref), while maintaining integrity tracking (Iout) through a power switch. Typically, all are MOS transistors series. The first embodiment includes establishing ratio (n) pilot transistors, n>1. In another embodiment, connection is parallel with single resistor and identical number (NP) switches. third techniques two embodiments combined (i.e., n>1 NP>1). utilized monitor output switch from load. Each fabricated such that conductivity would be greater than an isolated or by scaling factor. preferred factor (SF) established fabricating have gate widths smaller width switch, Iref=Iout/(SF×n×NP).
