摘要: Abstract The current study investigates the neural substrates of facial expression mimicry by assessing individuals with right and left lateralised frontal cortical lesions. Electromyography was used to measure spontaneous changes in electrical activity over corrugator supercilii (brow) zygomaticus major (cheek) muscle regions response happy angry expressions. Individuals (n = 4) (n = 5) lesions demographically matched controls (n = 9) were compared. It shown that while all three groups mimic expressions, only These data are consistent evidence for specialisation processing anger.
