摘要: BACKGROUND Hypertension in elderly patients is one of the main problems cardiovascular diseases. The sympathetic nervous system hyperactivity seen older a known risk factor for hypertension and other events as well chronic kidney disease. Renalase, secreted by circulated blood, may regulate tone catecholamine degradation this way has an impact on renal complications. OBJECTIVE To assess age renalase concentration hypertensive patients, including those dialyses its possible relation to blood pressure control METHODS study cohort 211 was divided into two groups according below 65 years (range 19-64) above 65-86). group represented 38% whole studied population 75% them were dialyzed. different ages also dialysis nondialysis subgroups. serum renalase, dopamine, norepinephrine together with value echocardiography assessed. RESULTS Patients aged more had higher (20.59 vs 13.14 µg/mL, P=0.02) dopamine (41.71 15.46 pg/mL, P<0.001) lower diastolic (75.33 85 mmHg, P=0.001), advanced abnormalities echocardiography, often suffered from diabetes coronary artery significant correlation between (r=0.16; P=0.019), (r=0.179; P=0.013), (r=0.21; P=0.003) found population. In subgroup, 44% disease, mostly stage 2 (83%). There significantly (1.21 0.87 ng/mL; P=0.008) that there no differences level but participants (69 78 P=0.001) ejection fraction (51% 56.8%, P=0.03). CONCLUSION elevated related rather function diseases than itself. Thus, appears be new marker these indications special
