摘要: Addition of methyl groups to arginine residues is catalyzed by a group enzymes called Protein Arginine Methyltransferases (Prmt). Although Prmt1 essential in development, its paralogue Prmt8 has been poorly studied. This gene was reported be expressed nervous system and involved neurogenesis. In this work, we found that mouse embryonic stem cells (ESC) induced pluripotent cells, modulated along differentiation neural precursor cells. We promoter activity the pluripotency transcription factors Oct4, Sox2 Nanog. Moreover, endogenous mRNA levels were reduced ESC transfected with shRNA vector. As whole, our results indicate factors. These findings suggest besides known function system, could play role
