摘要: Reactive power planning has always been a key research area in distribution engineering; technically and economically. However, the problem needs to be revisited consider several aspects of modern systems, such as high penetration level renewable resources with intermittent nature; microgrid concept possibility system operation grid-connected or isolated single mode, multiple microgrids; probabilistic hourly load profile. Motivated by these considering all aspects, this paper presents generalized approach for optimal reactive systems. A new index is defined probabilistically assess success microgrids terms real adequacy voltage limit constraints. Afterward, performed reduce annual energy losses increase index. The formulation solution algorithms are presented paper. well-known PG&E 69-bus selected test case, through sensitivity studies, effect optimization coefficients on design robustness algorithm investigated. cost–benefit case study also determine optimum total size distributed sources under study.
