摘要: Considerable effort has been put forth to exploit physical layer attributes augment network bit-level security mechanisms. RF-DNA fingerprints possess such and can be used uniquely identify authorized users mitigate unauthorized activity. These are unique a given electronic device difficult replicate for cloning, spoofing, etc. Device discrimination (identification) of WiMAX devices successfully demonstrated using one-to-many comparison against pool unknown fingerprints. The work here now addresses authentication one-to-one the specific fingerprint associated with claimed identity (MAC, SIM, IMEI, etc). concept is Gabor-based extracted from near-transient burst responses 802.16e mobile subscriber devices-device identification better than 96% achieved verification EER ≤ 1.6% SNR ≥ −3 dB.
