摘要: There are three basic types of hearing loss: conductive, sensorineural and mixed. Otosclerosis is a pathology which can originate any these loss. bone dysplasia, present only in the temporal bone, consists single or multiple absorption areas followed by healing with neoformation. The clinical result this conductive deafness when stapes footplate fixation occurs at oval window it affects otic capsule involving cochlear endosteum. categorised into two types, fenestral (stapedial type) retrofenestral (cochlear type). Cochlear otosclerosis represents continuation otosclerotic process rarely without involvement. numerical model used work was build based on geometrical information obtained from “The visible ear” project. A cryosectioning procedure applied to an 85 years old woman, pathologies, obtain anatomical data. Afterwards, different tissues were hand-segmented 3D constructed. aim study contribute understanding alterations introduced human ear its consequences earing capability, using analysis. umbo displacements presence carried out for stimulation 80 dB SPL tympanic membrane. stimulus frequencies ranging between 100 10 kHz. main conclusion that motion footplate, changing significantly response.
