摘要: Successful single-pole switching depends on rapid secondary arc extinction. Connecting high-speed grounding switches at each end of a transmission line in parallel with the will permit circuit breaker reclosure. Recent technology has advanced whereby 500 kV switch can be developed relatively low cost. Such are planned for application certain existing lines Bonneville Power Administration. Future applications being evaluated.
