摘要: Repeated and long term application of same herbicides forms bound residues in soil becomes point source pollution over a period time harms the microorganisms. Among different herbicides, atrazine pendimethalin is widely repeatedly used molecule maize sunflower cultivation for weed control, respectively. Hence present study was undertaken to investigate residue applied under fertilized condition with varied nutrient sources since 1909 North-Western agro-climatic zone Tamil Nadu semi-arid tropic region India.  Soil samples were collected at harvest analysed fraction compounds The results showed that repeated these recommended dose formed considerable amount non-extractable soil. While parent found below detectable limit, quantifiable level irrespective fertilization sources. However form metabolites, namely Des ethyl Deisopropyl (DEDIA) Hydroxy (HA) extracted from cultivated Bound HA (4.34%) DEDIA (3.43%) (3.14%)to quantity witnessed higher control plot than plots. omission any one major recorded elevated fraction. both detected proportions according herbicide nature, crops metabolites revealed atrazine, its can be mineralized into solution bio-augmented conditions application. remobilization must considered while gauging environmental hazard effect on non-target organisms.
