摘要: A high expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF)-1α, carbonic anhydrase 9 (CA9), and osteopontin appears to be a strong prognostic indicator in many malignancies; however, their role is unclear high-grade gliomas. HIF-1α, CA9, levels tissue specimens 92 patients with glioma were evaluated by immunohistochemistry. Patients cytoplasmic nuclear had significantly shorter overall survival. The results these markers combined form hypoxic profile, scores (expression two or three markers) correlated poorer In multivariate analysis, score-1 (cytoplasmic osteopontin) was the only independent negative factor for survival (p = 0.028). Our showed that combination more robust than single marker predicting glioma. It may necessary utilize score selecting targeted therapy future.
