摘要: Abstract Three high-resolution satellite precipitation products, the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) standard products 3B42V6 and 3B42RT Climate Precipitation Center's (CPC) morphing technique product (CMORPH), were evaluated against surface rain gauge observations from Laohahe Basin in northern China. Widely used statistical validation indices categorical statistics adopted. The evaluations performed at multiple time scales, ranging daily to yearly, for years 2003 2008. results show that all three perform very well detecting occurrence of events, but there are some different biases amount precipitation. 3B42V6, which has a bias 21%, fits best with both monthly while CMORPH, values 81% 67%, respectively, much higher than normal receivable threshold. quality also shows yearly variation: large positive cold season September April, CMORPH warm May August, they attained their 2006 (with 10%, 50%, −5% 3B42RT, respectively). Our evaluation that, Basin, correspondence observations, performs better 3B42RT. errors remind us need new improvements retrieval algorithms or feasible adjusting methods.
