摘要: Summary The problem of managing demand Most healthcare systems have ‘third-party payers’ who face the keeping within budgets despite pressures to increase resources due ageing population, new technologies and patient demands lower thresholds for care. This paper uses UK National Health Service as a case study suggest techniques system-based management, which aims control costs whilst maintaining cost-effectiveness system. Technique technique in primary, elective urgent care consists treatment appropriate care, using whole-systems approach costing elements It is important analyse activity relation capacity demand. Examples these practice are given. Conclusion practical effects such need evaluation. If not used, limiting expenditure will be at expense clinical outcomes unmet need, perpetuate financial crises.
