摘要: Abstract We review recent and original results on the vibrational properties of single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT). especially focus calculations experiments performed nanotube bundles. So far, main technique for probing dynamics has been Raman spectroscopy. Here, we discuss: (i) relation between frequency A 1 g radial breathing mode diameter, (ii) origin resonance consequences profile intensity lines, (iii) assignment resonant behaviour lines 700 1000 cm −1 . Recently, inelastic neutron scattering techniques (INS) were shown to be effective tools probe density states SWNT. INS study low excitations, libration-twist modes acoustic modes. Both are analysed in light a valence force field model taking into account van der Waals intertubes interactions
