摘要: Compared with the management of social rented housing in Britain, comparatively little is known about how private landlords manage their property, despite increasing importance. This paper reports results from a recent survey Scotland which shows that restrict acquisition property close to where they themselves live market and business risks face. because personal knowledge markets important reducing risks, given complexities sub-markets operate information asymmetries involved. The combines quantitative data on large sample properties landlords, including location homes (or businesses), series focus groups smaller understand reasons why most very portfolios. policy implications surveys are also discussed.
