摘要: Introduced either accidentally or purposefully for the creation of cultivated pastures, African grasses are becoming major invaders ecological reserves and national parks Brazilian savannas, cerrado. particularly good colonizers disturbed sites. Germination in field laboratory, seedling establishment were studied species Andropogon gayanus Kunth var. bisquamulatus (Hochst.) Hack., native Echinolaena infltxa (Poiret) Chase Schizachyrium tenerum Nees. The had a higher faster germination rate than two species, but its mortality was higher. main cause herbivory by ants. It is suggested that invasion cerrado depends on kind management being practised.
