摘要: A review of the literature was conducted to examine performance catalysts other than conventional nickel catalysts, and alkaline earth olivine based for treating hot raw product gas from a biomass gasifier convert methane tars into synthesis gas. Metal Ni included precious metals Rh, Ru, Ir, Pt, Pd, as well Cu, Co, Fe in limited testing. Nickel promoted with Zr, Mn, Mo, Ti, Ag, or Sn were also examined, on Ce2O3, TiO2, ZrO2, SiO2, La2O3. In general, Rh stood out consistently superior metal catalyst reforming, tar cracking, minimizing carbon buildup catalyst. Ru Ir showed significant improvement over reforming. Ceria good support material particularly promoter when added small quantities another such alumina, zirconia, olivine. Other promising supports lanthana, titania.
