Methods: 160 permanent posterior teeth were examined 25 GDPs. GDPs not given any criteria therefore free diagnose plan care, as they felt appropriate. Each GDP conducted four examinations, two after sealing. serially sectioned provide validating criterion. Results: After placement, there statistically significant increase in specificity decrease sensitivity both diagnostic decisions. expressed κ-statistic order 0.5 sealing with regard There tendency less disease (P<0.001). also significantly care (preventive or restorative) (P<0.001). Conclusions: resulted restorative treatment. This may be appropriate evidence exists support use sealants caries therapeutic agents.
