摘要: This study assesses the patterns of agricultural intensification in 40 African countries looking at role fertilizer plays process. We propose a set indicators that uses information on available land and suitability to measure intensity use production. Results show half our sample, those with low population density, have followed land-abundant path growth driven by new incorporated crop production increased cropping through reduction fallow periods double cropping.
