摘要: Abstract In the current restructuring of agro-food systems quality is seen as increasingly important and in United Kingdom this evidenced by growth assurance schemes (QAS). The aim paper to critically examine process introducing through QAS UK. This done identifying analysing key discourses farming food industries surrounding process. Drawing on Farmers Weekly a data source, four main are identified analysed. These organisational change within chain; definition quality; farmer acceptance of, resistance to, QAS; which construct particular representation consumers. implications each these for development also discussed issues further research identified.
