摘要: Summary The synthesis of amaranthin in Amaranthus caudatus Seedlings is inhibited by inhibitors protein (chloramphenicol, puromycin) and nucleic acid (2-thiouracil). degree inhibition depends on the time application. Already 8 h after onset irradiation effect chloramphenicol diminished 12 h this antibiotic does not inhibit pigment formation. Puromycin, however, shows an about 15 per cent. Only 16 h 2-thiouracil has no inhibiting synthesis. action seems to be competitive, because can overcome simultaneous application higher concentrations uracil.
