摘要: Missed lung lesions are one of the most frequent causes malpractice issues [1, 2, 3, 4]. Chest radiography plays an important role in detection and management patients with cancer, chronic airways disease, pneumonia, interstitial disease. Among all diagnostic tests, chest is essential for confirming or excluding diagnosis diseases. However, numerous a wide variety disease processes affecting thorax may be missed on radiograph. For example, frequency carcinoma radiographs can vary from 12 to 90%, depending study design [5]. Despite lack convincing evidence that screening cancer radiograph improves mortality, still requested this purpose [6, 7] The will also help narrowing differential determining additional measures, addition being use during follow-up. utility maximized by integrating radiological findings clinical features individual patient [8]. In chapter, we review more principles regarding common diseases, focus how correlation subsequent multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) improve interpretation plain
