摘要: Hypertrophic gastropathy--that is, Menetrier's disease--was found, in a retrospective analysis, to be associated with Helicobacter pylori more than 90% of patients. It is proposed that hypertrophic gastropathy represents special form H gastritis these A case described 28 year old woman disease proved protein loss from the stomach. Treatment cimetidine for three years had little benefit when colonisation by was detected. Density and activity gastritis, which also present first biopsy specimens taken five ago, were pronounced body antrum, agreement characteristics found other cases disease. 14 day antibacterial treatment course 750 mg amoxicillin times combined 40 omeprazole started April 1991. This resulted eradication return normal giant folds mucosal histology. Serum concentrations returned within six weeks remained at two endoscopies during follow up. report suggests subgroup patients may healed pylori.
