A longitudinal study of battered children of battered wives.

摘要: Twenty-seven battered women with children under 18 who had sought help at a shelter were interviewed about violence and abuse to their by themselves the men involved using modified Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS). Twenty-one of these reinterviewed 6 months later. Longitudinal comparisons indicated that total group abused less after woman's stay shelter, but significant proportion maintained patterns abuse. Most reduction resulted from no longer living abusive men. Discussion focuses on implications for intervention shelter.
