摘要: Abstract The necessity of high performance materials has become latent in technology sectors such as aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, nuclear engineering and sports. expanding impact on future manufacturing the EU waste management legislation increasing price current methods stress importance an efficient sustainable way recycling generated composites industry. Aerospace companies estimated that 30–50% aircraft production are scrapped due to it is manufactured. Companies need pay for landfilling composite otherwise can be a valuable resource. In view looking at individual outputs could maximise material reuse or capability, gaining information about type scrap inform development reuse/recycling supply chain. This research paper focuses understanding scale created processes assess its potential value terms reuse/recycle capabilities. A Material flow analysis based data collection workshop been performed with four manufacturers. Through case studies identified there three fibre related captured: dry fibres, sheet off-cuts, curried off-cuts. captured allows specification development. bridging gap between manufacturers processors address lack infrastructure barriers outlined by Composites Strategy 2009.
