摘要: Experiments were performed to study the flow characteristics of condensate on a simulated bank horizontal low finned tubes. Two or three tubes arranged in vertical column set stationary vapor. The top tube had longitudinal slit at upper end through which test liquid was fed uniformly surface. Cooling water passed lower fluids used R-113, methanol and normal propanol. Four major modes: droplet, column, column-sheet sheet, observed as rate increased. Experimental data number instantaneous falling sites, proportion surface area covered with flooding angle below inter-fin sp. ace flooded obtained for range rates. Theoretical considerations given effect mode transition measured quantities.
