摘要: Long term evolution (LTE) technology leveraging the unlicensed band is anticipated to provide a solution for challenges stemming from rapid growth of mobile wireless services, scarcity available licensed spectrum, and expected significant increase in data traffic. Ensuring fair operation terms spectrum sharing with current incumbents key concern relative success viability Unlicensed LTE (U-LTE). This paper addresses problem modeling evaluating coexistence license-assisted-access band. The presents novel analytical model using Markov chain accurately LAA listen-before-talk scheme, as specified final technical specification 36.213 3GPP release 13 14. Furthermore, validation demonstrated through numerical simulation results comparison. Model performance evaluation examined contrasted IEEE 802.11 distributed coordination function. Finally, comprehensive analysis conducted both homogeneous heterogeneous network scenarios are presented discussed herein.
