摘要: This thesis project focuses on the need for better tools analyzing competition forest fuels in Sweden, particular how policy measures may influence market and involved actors different regions of Sweden. Raw materials from have long constituted important inputs Swedish industry. Today some these raw are increasingly used as also bioenergy production, largely driven by promoting policies, there signs increased which various uncertain effects industries question. The explores possibilities to adapt previously sector equilibrium models into a new model suitable analysis fuel markets, called Forest Sector Trade Model (SFSTM). The approach takes account regional differences supply demand 23 types products produced and/or eight producers, plus consumers, five (four one international). contributes with novelty an economic partial that includes trade production. After extensive data collection fitting setup according circumstances, is programmed solved GAMS software. calibrated then tested tool implementing scenarios imply shifts energy introduction tax production. The results primarily interest understanding functionality context, regards availability regionalized related implications setup. concludes several key issues recommendations further steps be taken if this type should continue developed such as; extraction processing cost logging residues, exogenous input costs industries, affected choice geographic scale (trading) assumptions transport functions.
