摘要: There is a widely recognized possibility that the earth’s climate may change at an unprecedented rate during next century. General circulation models (GCMs) of atmosphere predict global annual average temperature will increase 2 to 5 °C in response increased levels greenhouse gases. This equivalent doubling atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations from preindustrial (Schneider et al., 1991). Although there are many uncertainties concerning magnitude and pattern regional changes (Dickinson, 1989), time-scale forestry management requires serious consideration possible future effects now.
