摘要: Abstract Elastic scattering data and inelastic excitation of the lowest 2 + state in 18 O from 120 MeV incident on 208 Pb are analyzed coupled channels including couplings to second O. This analysis favors positive sign for product four E2 matrix elements, p 4 = M 0 1 , where ij −〈 i ∥ (E2)∥ j 〉. is agreement with shell-model calculations.
