摘要: Abstract The non-isothermal decomposition of lead acetate trihydrate was studied up to 450°C by means TG, DTG, DTA and DSC measurements in a dynamic atmosphere N2 (or dry air). parent salt found undergo melting concurrently with the dehydration process, which takes place two steps between 30 110°C. anhydrous melts at 204°C later forms intermediate basic salts, namely Pb(CH3COO)2 · PbO (between 230 270°C) 2PbO 275 325°C) respectively. latter decomposes, 325 380°C atmosphere, produce mixture small amount metallic Pb. In air, however, produces solid only. X-ray powder diffraction IR transmission spectroscopy were used identify intermediates products reaction. Gas chromatography volatile O2. Scanning electron microscopy also investigate structure changes possible occurrence during decomposition. Values kinetic (ΔE ln A) thermodynamic (ΔH, Cp ΔS) parameters calculated for processes.
