摘要: Background: The standard methods for reconstruction of soft tissue defects in the leg include gastrocnemius flap proximal third defects, soleus middle and free distal third. However, there are problems with use flap, like increased operative time, damage major vessels need experienced microsurgeon. Methods: This prospective study was undertaken on 23 patients (20 male 3 female) mean age 32.13 years (14 to 65). group consisted all referred Dr Bahonar Hospital, Kerman between April 2011 20012 would give informed consent participation treatment defect muscle flaps. 8 were treated 4 reverse flap. followed up at least 1 year. Finally results analyzed by SPSS 16. Results: In repair successful all. 5 complete but them failure seen. Overall success rate soleous 72.7%. Conclusion: upper lower thirds similar other studies seems that this is method. failed cases it preoperative investigations such as angiography must be performed before embarking a procedure.
