摘要: This study investigated the metabolic content and biological activities of Hyphaene thebaica leaves, male parts fruits methanolic extracts. The phytochemical constituents were determined, multivariate data analysis discriminated evaluated three into groups according to phenolics, flavonoids, flavonols, saponins, anthocyanins tannins. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) profiling polyphenols revealed dominance catechins, rutin apigenin-7-glucosides in protocatechuin, p-hydroxybenzoic, syringic, vanillic, rosmarinic, p-coumaric acids chrysin parts, chlorogenic acid fruits. Leaves showed stronger free radical scavenging activity than Positive correlations between total antioxidant capacity carbohydrates, phenolics flavonols observed. extracts exhibited potent anti-cancer against liver lung carcinoma cell lines. All antibacterial activity, while only antifungal efficacy. In conclusion, H. contain a variety phytochemicals with antioxidant, anticancer antimicrobial activities.
