摘要: By separating the two complexity problems connected with optimum coherent CPM (continuous phase modulation) receivers, namely, number of linear filters and memory states required, a straightforward procedure for reducing is proposed its usefulness evaluated. A concise analysis inherent trellis encoder associated given. It then demonstrated that almost all schemes interest in practice, it quite sufficient receiver to implement only four or six which represent proper reference signals. For reduction states, decision-feedback sequence estimation together minimization unprocessed intersymbol interference proposed. Modifications this allow state without losses negligible because error events large distances are affected. Combinations these methods make possible an continuous tradeoff between SNR (signal/noise ratio) losses. Several examples considered evaluations minimum Euclidean simulation results >
