摘要: Proximal femur fractures show a high prevalence in elderly patients and are associated with an elevated risk of multimorbidity early mortality. Recovery is impaired by malnutrition oxidative stress, which affected antioxidants such as ascorbic acid (AA). This study monitored AA levels during hospitalization proximal to investigate the influence status clinical outcome. 25 fracture were measured using performance liquid chromatography. Plasma samples collected preoperatively, on first day after surgery, third surgery discharge. Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 (NRS) Mini Assessment (MNA) assessed evaluate nutritional status. In femoral fractures, preoperative concentrations significantly lower compared without acute fracture. A significant decrease 33.8% plasma level was recovery up time The did not have any effect However, inadequate (<50 µmol/L) upon discharge increased incidence severity postoperative complications. These results indicate that has greater impact outcome than assumed, therefore, supplementation should be considered.
